ELPEX IRS Comfort – roller-ski poles with innovative
damping system inside of the handle.
The ELPEX IRS Comfort is a new roller-ski pole
specially made for skiers, who have problems (or don’t want to have them) with
elbow joints. Strong forces in the time of putting the poles on the ground are
minimized by the damping system. Inside of the handle works the damping system
and presses while strong forces are working. The handle of the ELPEX IRS
Comfort moves around 1-3cm in.
Because the damping system is integrated in the
handle, the handling of the ELPEX IRS Comfort is amazing good. Normally poles
are equip by damped ferrules but the weight is far away of the fulcrum.
The ELPEX IRS Comfort roller-ski poles come with a
shaft made out of 80% carbon and 20% fiberglass. The handle is equip by natural
cork and the loops are adjustable with a strap. For hard ground, the ferrules
come with extra hard metal (videa) and reinforced plastic.
Conclusion: The ELPEX IRS Comfort are perfect
roller-ski poles for training on roller-skis and cross-skates.
