With the Sporten
Ranger we offer a nordic ski specially made for touring on non-prepared tracks.
In Scandinavia used for ski expeditions the Sporten Ranger is a real reliable
nordic ski.

The core is made for
robust using. The wood core provides a perfect mix of stability and weight. The
big multi grip embossed provides perfect grip and control of the kick –
especially in soft snow into the backcountry.

The extra wide base of 68-60-65mm gives maximum of control in deep snow. By the
help of the steal edges, icy and hard downhill tracks are no problem.

Ranger is a real nordic ski for backcountry using on non-prepared tracks. For
skiers who like to change between prepared tracks and backcountry we recommend
you the Sporten Forester. The right fitting binding is the Backcountry binding but need for backcountry xc-ski boots. With standard xc-ski boots we recommend a skate binding because of higher ski weight and stiffer flexor of the binding. For using with own winter boots you can order the touring binding (hunting, expedition, military use).

Our tip: Choose
the xc-skis by your weight. Keep attention to added weight like rucksack and
packages you’ll ski with. If you are between the sizes choose the stiffer
